if you don’t know my friend anne sage, you should.  she is as witty and kind as she is beautiful and you can see that (clear as day) she is verrry beautiful.  she is an incredible writer!  over the years she has utilized her lifestyle blog, the city sage, as a platform to not only expose her readers to the ways of a well curated lifestyle but engages readers into the pursuit of authenticity when doing so.  her style tips intertwined with introspection is so refreshing!   when you first dive into her blog you will quickly notice she has a very chic and clean fashion sensibility. often juxtaposing classic menswear sillouetts with a on point feminine staples, she creates styles that are quintessentially anne.  a true sartorialist, it was no wonder she was asked by target to showcase her style utilizing current trends found in stores now.  here are a few frames from a recent session we did highlighting some of her recent finds.  so head on over to anne’s blog to get the full scoop on her outfit. a very special thanks to my dear friend and artisan rachel for helping out with the hair and makeup.

the weddings we attend are usually filled to the brim with thoughtfully curated details leaving us in awe of the celebration.  even amidst the grander of the well curated floral arrangements, perfectly placed linens, and scattered vintage finds, there is nothing that inspires me to be at my very best more then a genuinely happy couple.  despite the nerves, the joy radiating from ginger on her wedding day was so obvious.  throughout the day it was easy to find beauty to capture.

memorial day is a special time for all americans.  a time to express our gratitude for the service and bravery of those in the military that dedicate their talents, hard work, and lives for the sake of our country.  we are extremely grateful to all the men and woman who take on our burdens daily and actively pursue the preservation of freedom for our sake.

for our family specifically, we are blessed with veterans from all generations and are so grateful for the commitment they have shown throughout the years.  for myself (danielle) memorial day holds such value even beyond the typical salute to the men and women who serve this country.  on memorial day 36 years ago, my beloved was born in brindisi, italy while his parents were on active duty.  kevin was brought into this world by two dedicated patriots who have instilled in him a love of God, family, and country.  i am so grateful their service lead them to one another, and that kevin’s journey lead him to me.

thank you to all the men and woman who so bravely serve our country.  thank you to robert and sharon for your dedication to our country, raising a wonderful son, and your love and support of kevin and myself.  we love you dearly.

 megan and alan have become such dear friends.  we were so honored to capture their gorgeous ceremony at our lady queen of angels in newport beach and the fete immediately following at lambert ranch in irvine, ca.  here are just a few highlights (mixture of film and digital) from their beautiful collection including our wedding video of their special day.

we just got back from beautiful paso robles where we shot elaine and mitch’s gorgeous mid week wedding held at hammersky vineyards.  it was intimate, well curated, and simply perfect.  while we eagerly await the return of the film we dropped at richard photo lab here is a lovely digital shot to tide us over.  update: check out the full post of their wedding HERE
