we loved working with mitch and elaine!  hammersky vineyards is such an amazing retreat for couples to celebrate their new life together with family and friends. mitch and elaine chose to have a private celebration with just their closest family and friends who flew in from all over the world to enjoy a few days in the gorgeous paso robles.  the fete was beautifully curated by the couple and their friends with help from april flowers, and thomas hill organics.  To catch more of Mitch and Elaine’s beautiful wedding, head over 100 Layer Cake to read more details of this special wedding.

sometimes our couples go to the edge of the world to say “i do”.  we love being there to create images of the day.  here is one frame from jacy and jon david’s intimate elopement a couple weeks back.  this is by far one of my all time favorite images. more images and super 8 film still to come.

we got back yesterday from an amazing weekend of shooting elopements!  i dropped our film off at the lab as soon as we got back in town and by this afternoon we already had our images delivered!  we started the weekend off in malibu, then made our way up the coast to one of our favorite spots in big sur.  the post ranch inn is an absolute stunning location for couples to kick off their marriage adventure.  sean and kim brought us up to big sur to create a 16mm fine art film which i am sure we will be sharing with you in the near future.  for now, here is one reference still i popped off immediately following their ceremony in the redwoods.

this is quite possibly one of my most favorite moments during the ketubah signing prior to jenn + stephen’s wedding.  with family gathered round, the rabbi offered a place of peace as he blessed the couple.  keep an eye out for their super 8 film coming soon!
