Every year, when summer is just around the corner, we start looking forward to longer days, warmer nights, and lots of memory making with our pals… just like when we were kids! For the past two years we have kicked off summer with a group of our friends down in Venice Beach at the Urbanic Summer Social. This year was our second annual social filled with fun, laughter, craftiness, paper goodness, and more memory making then ever before (and I thought last year would be hard to top). The store was packed with paper loving snail mail enthusiasts, and the party out back went on well into the evening. The space was decked out with lovely florals and curated details by the talented Gather Events. People enjoyed sipping on their spiked lemonade, munching on their fresh popped popcorn, and cooling off with a tasty treat from Sno-Con-Amor. Smock was there with some extra special post cards for guests to create a memento for themselves or to send off to a loved one. Our gals over at 100 Layer Cake were there, along with tons of other brilliant bloggers and friends.
